This is my female model update. I am happy with the way she looks as a checker board. Still needs a little work as the uv's have not been merged to make them seamless. I cant wait to start texture her as i have never made a full character model before. She will have a green and purpleish color palette for her clothes and have maybe have some interresting skin texutre because of the background of where she lives. Hoping to have her unwrapped and have the base texture on her by the end of the weekend!

I have finally started texturing my car! Its fully unwrapped and it was actually a pretty easy process. The diffuse texture is pretty much done. I am trying to figure out a way to add a nice nice shiny finish to my car but it just looks flat right now. I will post up the model of my car with the textures on it and the crazy bumb maps. They need some work before they will look good.

Update on game project
What i showed in class is pretty much where i am right now i just thought i would share in better detail what i plan to do with this project.
The track will indeed be finished and i started the unwrapping process for my car after two weeks of delay. I really got into the character i am building and put this project a little bit on the back burner. I have faith in my modeling process and i believe that i will be able to catch back up on my milestones. Unwrapping the track will be easy but in the unity demo that i have it also multiple unwraps on the same model and i have an idea of how it works but i need to talk to Amanda or some that would be able to help me.

eeary situation
Working the ear for the first time and its looking good. Its clean, has no tri's and everything is coming together well and should be easy to attach to eurika's head. Will hopefully have this finished by the night!
fixing an ugly face
I did a little bit of work over the week working on fix plobert's face. I don't know why i am having such problems modeling his face but its got to be one of the messier models i have ever made. His chin does not stand a foot from his face anymore and he actually has a curve from the front of his head moving to the back, before he was a pure square face. His cheeks look more natural and his eyes protrude more from his skull now. This could be the last of plobert, i want to focus on finishing Eurika and having her finished by the end of the term.
